Roasted Ginger Salmon
The sweet and tangy ginger marinade in this recipe adds Asian-inspired flavor to roasted salmon. The bold flavors of the marinade also work well with a variety of other seafood.

Ginger Marinade
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh minced ginger
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- ¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons packed Domino® or C&H® Light Brown Sugar
- 1 piece orange peel
- 2 sliced green onions
Roasted Ginger Salmon
- 4-6 ounce portions of salmon filet, skin off
- 4 tablespoons thinly sliced green onions
Instructions
Ginger Marinade
Step 1: In a small sauce pot, sweat the ginger and garlic in the vegetable oil, until soft.
Step 2: Add the soy, vinegar, brown sugar, and orange peel. Reduce approximately by half to form a glaze.
Step 3: Stir in green onions and refrigerate.
Roasted Ginger Salmon
Step 1: Marinade salmon for two hours in the refrigerator, reserving a couple tablespoons of marinade.
Step 2: Remove salmon and season with salt and pepper. Place on baking dish sprayed with vegetable oil.
Step 3: Place into a preheated 350°F oven for approximately 10-12 minutes until salmon is just done.
Step 4: Brush on reserved marinade, place onto a serving dish, and garnish with sliced green onions.
